We craft recommendations that are easy to accomplish based on your goals, observations, and stewardship abilities. Consultations can be a stand-alone service or the first step in a design or planning process.
Rural Acreage Planning

From visioning to detailed design, our planning services for larger sites support biodiversity, address erosion, and make the most of the property entrusted to your care. Plans start with an in-depth site assessment and can address overall site layout, water considerations, trail layouts, habitat restoration, and sacred spaces.
Residential Master Plans
Offered July - August & Nov. - March
$2,500 minimum depending on project size and complexity
After an initial consultation, we collaborate with you over the course of 2-3 months to develop a landscape design that matches your vision and is feasible for your stewardship abilities.
Phase One: Analysis
We evaluate your property based on your goals, soil and climate data, and ecological context. Maps are created to illustrate how these factors interact.
Phase Two: Conceptual Design
We create 2-3 conceptual ideas of how the spaces, hardscapes, and different types of plantings could be arranged. We answer your design questions and use your feedback to weave together a final design.
Phase Three: Final Design
We produce a final design complete with final drawings, plant palettes, cost estimates, and stewardship plans.
Mini Designs
Offered April - October
$950
Our mini-design services give special attention to smaller projects like yard layout, challenging sections, garden updates, and more. Includes a consultation, sketch, and plant list.
Planting Plans
Offered year-round
$350 minimum depending on size
We specialize in medicinal herb gardens, meadowscaping, rain gardens, and native perennial beds. Our planting plans will transform your planting strip or part of your yard into a low maintenance, pollinator-friendly habitat. Available for DIY or full service installation depending on the size of the garden.
Green Burial Design

Green burial allows loved ones to be returned to the Earth as naturally as possible directly into the soil - without embalming fluid and within a simple biodegradable box or shroud. We are passionate about designing these sacred spaces to make green burial more accessible.
